In May of 2020, the NITDA (National Information Technology Development Agency) issued the Guidelines for the Management of Personal Data by Public Institutions in Nigeria (GMP), 2020. My concern, as the title of this article suggests, is how the provisions of the GMP can impliedly extend to the regulation of Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria
